Game Boy’s first tie-in to a Western comic (and movie) property came to us in care of the hottest comic and movie property of the time: Tim Burton’s ultra-stylish Batman. Surprisingly, this is not simply a port of the NES game (also by SunSoft) but rather a completely original title.

Jeremy! I love what you’re doing here! I’ve heard about Retronauts for years, but never listened. Now, for the past two weeks, it’s just about all I’ve listened to. I love the podcast and hearing all of yours and Bob’s deep dives into retro games. Specifically, I liked the most recent Dracula X episode. So much in fact, I watched a 3 hr. longplay of it on YouTube. Anyways, I keep hearing you mention this site, and decided I’d finally take a look – and I love it! It’s amazing what you’re doing here. PLEASE don’t stop. The world needs archivers like you doing things like this.
Sincerely,
Josh Daniel (Atl, Ga.)
P.S. I’m a huge Batman fan, and was curious about this cart. These images are fantastic! Thank you for all of your hard work!!

Great game, great music, very enjoyable. Another GB gem is Batman Return of the Joker which I think is slightly better than this one just for the fact that I have beaten that game many times but I have never beaten this game, and I’ve only made it to Joker a handful of times even though I’ve put in a ton of hours into it.
